Jim Courier defeated fellow American Jimmy Arias 6-4, 6-2 Sunday to successfully defend his title at the $150,000 The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman Legends Championships. The title was Courier’s eighth career title on the Outback Champions Series, the global tennis circuit for champion tennis players age 30 and over, and his first of the 2009 season.
Jimmy Arias advanced into his first career Outback Champions Series tournament final Saturday, coming back from a 4-6, 1-4 deficit to defeat Pat Cash 4-6, 7-5, 10-8 (Champions Tie-Breaker) in the semifinals of the $150,000 The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman Legends Championships.

InsideOut Sports & Entertainment today announced that Pat Cash will replace Goran Ivanisevic in the eight-player field at The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman Legends Championships that begins this Thursday in Grand Cayman.
