Nicolas Kiefer’s kiwi green eyes
German Nicolas Kiefer is preparing to participate in the Davis Cup tie between his native Germany and Spain. He replaces the unfit Tommy Haas to join Philipp Kohlschreiber in singles. This is Kiefer’s first Davis Cup since February 2006.
One last time: Guga Kuerten as an ATP pro in Miami
Kuerten’s game might not have held up, but his clothes did. He wore an orange/red kit from Diadora Guga Kuerten. We’ll sure miss his flair after retirement.
Agustin Calleri’s wristband
Luis Horna (left) and Agustin Calleri squared off at last week’s Copa Telmex in Buenos AIres. Horna, in Reebok, put on a simple silver necklace, while Calleri, in Diadora, had on a wristband with thick, monochrome vertical stripes.
