Even though Maria Sharapova is not competing in the Sony Ericsson Open she still shows up at the Kick Off Party in Miami. Her shoulder is still bothering her too much to play. She did try to compete at the BNP Paribas Open in doubles alongside fellow countrywoman Elena Dementieva. It wasn’t much of a success though as they crashed out in the first round of doubles.
After that she announced that she pulled out of the Sony Ericsson Miami tournament.
But apparently it was just the tournament as the pictures clearly show that Sharapova is having a good time in Miami.
In other Sharapova news today she launched the new Sony the 3G HSDPA-equipped T707 which is due in the US in the second quarter.
Oh also attending this great Sony Ericsson Open Miami Kick Off Party is Eliza Dushku who currently stars in the critically acclaimed TV show “Dollhouse“. Dollhouse is on every Friday at 9PM EST on Fox.
