The qualifications for the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open are underway and we got a kick ass photographer at the scene. Due to injury Andrea Petkovic and Yanina Wickmayer have withdrawn from the tournament.
And for those who are attending the tournament: Andrea Petkovic is signing autographs this Wednesday, October 19 at 16h30. After that Petkovic is scheduled to appear on a TV show called “Egalité des chances au sport, business et politique.”
It’s too bad that Petkovic and Wickmayer don’t play but the tournament still has a strong field. Though I have to say that I am surprised to find Victoria Azarenka and Maria Kirilenko on the list. I would expected them to play on homesoil in Moscow.
